Lincoln Unmasked should really have been titled "Libertarianism Unmasked. It is really just a transparent state’s rights libertarian manifesto, with Lincoln only used as an occasional foil . . . more

Richard Popovich, Jun 28, 2009, 11:54AM EDTDavid: I just tried writin a ping but it I think it got lost in ciberspace. So here it goes again excuse me if there are duplicate pings.
Have you ever heard of W. Cleon Skousen’s “Miracle of America” study course? It has been used by several Christian colleges including Oral Roberts University. It is a course on the Constitution and America’s heritage. It is a great way to not just learn the principles of the Founder’s Constitution, but is a great way to teach others.
I am starting a website called Study the Constitution.com and hope to have it up and running sometime in July. The idea is to start Constitutional study groups across the country based of this seminar. The seminar it self, is a series of lectures by Dr. Skousen and are on a set of 7 DVD’s. There are 13 lessons of approximately 1 hour each. The “Miracle of America” study course is the only publication that has to be purchased to start a study group. After that you will access my website and use the “Out of the Headlines” part of the study group concept.
My “Out of the Headlines” will examine some aspect of a major Constitutional issue or piece of legislation to study and take action on. As long as Mr. Obama selects nominees to the Supreme Court, the emphasis will be on the nominee’s comments on the functions of the Court and their views of its role in the system of checks and balances. Members of the study group will then take part in a letter-writing effort favoring or opposing the nominee.
My website will be free to use in any way the viewer wishes to use it as long as the user agrees to use it in a positive and ethical manner. If you send me your personal email via a “ping,” I will send you the first “edition” of the web page along with the information on the purchase of materials through the publishers. This way you know that I am not doing this for any monetary gain or personal reward except for helping people teach the principles of the Founder’s Constitution.
Thank You
